Anthony "Tony" Sackrider

Anthony Washington ?Tony? Sackrider, age 32, a resident of Eugene Road in Columbia, passed away Wednesday, November 14 at his residence.
Funeral services for Tony will be conducted Saturday, November 17 at 2:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Home of Columbia with Rev. Daniel Vannoy officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
Born in Pontiac, MI, he was the son of Charles and Mayme ?Mary? Sperry Sackrider of Wolverine, MI. He was a cook for Shoney?s and a part-time roofer. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, Robert Sackrider, William Lee Sackrider and William Douglas Cobbs, all of Columbia; a brother, Randy Sackrider of Auburn Hills, MI; sisters, Kathryn Sackrider and Sandra Stan Grys, both of Roseville, MI, Theresa Sackrider of Columbia and Elizabeth Sackrider of Wolverine, MI; several aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents, a brother, 2 uncles an aunt and a cousin.
Pallbearers will be Alex Garcia, Michael Cates, Keith Ardry, Eli Yanna, Tim Richter and Allison Lovell. Honorary pallbearers will be co-workers of Shoney?s.
