Annie Mae Green Workman

August 26, 1916 — February 25, 2005

Mrs. Annie Mae Green Workman, 88, widow of Claude L. Workman and a resident of Walton Circle in Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Workman will be conducted Sunday, February 27, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Jeff Waldrop officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Bob Taylor and Annie Walker Green. She was a homemaker and member of the Sandy Hook Church of Christ. She was a very special mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by six daughters, Agnes A. Frank Skinner of Williamsport, TN, Martha Ray Bassham and Ann Phillip Crews both of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Sue Jimmy Davis and Janice Moody both of Columbia, TN, and Rita Young of Duck River, TN; three sons, Marvin Ray Christy Workman of Columbia, TN, Harry Jennifer Workman of Denver, CO, and John Workman of Murfreesboro, TN; a sister, Pearl Johnson of Columbia, TN; twenty-six grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Joe Lee Workman, Tommy Wayne Workman, and J.C. Workman; six brothers and a son-in-law, Robert Lewis Young.

Pallbearers will be Billy Davis, Jimmy Charles Davis, Brian Crews, Micah Crews, John Workman, Jr., Jon Anderson, Raylan Bassham, Daniel Staggs, Bryant Brewer, Shane Moody, Dustin Workman, Jeremy Workman, Comer Brewer, and Jimmy Skinner.
