Mrs. Annie Lee Carpenter Thomason, 85, a resident of Scott Town Rd in Mt. Pleasant, died Friday afternoon at Rosewood Manor.
Funeral services for Mrs. Thomason will be conducted Sunday at 11:00 am in the chapel of Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will be in the Gibsonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Born in Giles County, she was the daughter of the late Mitchell and Sallie Carpenter Brittian and wife of the late Eulas Russell Thomason. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. James Gracie Lee Ramsey of Pulaski, Mrs. Mike Jewel Dean Johnson of Lynnville and Mrs. James E. Margaret Clark of Columbia; three sons, Donald Wayne Betty Thomason and Russell Lee Margaret Thomason, both of Campbellsville and David Franklin Charlotte Thomason of Mt. Pleasant; a step-brother, Bobby D. Brittian of Mt. Pleasant; 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Ike Lela Mae Osborne; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Norman and Mrs. Lillie Mae Booker; three brothers, Liburn, Wilburn and Odell Carpenter.
Active pallbearers will be Jerry Osborne, Michael Johnson, Billy and Steve Ramsey, Jason, Jr., James David and Tommy D. Thomason.
