Annie Fay Lentz O'Neal, affectionately known as Fay, peacefully passed away on May 11, 2024, at Countryside Health and Rehab in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Born in Maury County, Tennessee, to the late Virgil and Annie Gladys Lentz, Fay's life was a testament to love, resilience, and grace.
Fay found joy in life's simple pleasures, cherishing moments spent camping and fishing. Her green thumb was renowned, tending to her beloved tulips and rose bushes, though her love for all flowers was evident. Fearless and determined, she approached every task with a can-do spirit, leaving no challenge unconquered.
A master of Southern cuisine, Fay found solace in the kitchen, where she healed hearts with her delicious meals. Her elegance and warmth made her a beacon of grace, and her unwavering dedication to her husband and family knew no bounds.
Fay is survived by her loving daughters, Ann Hawley (David) and Penny Boshers (Jereomy); grandchildren Leigh Ann, Matt, Justin (Rachel), Ian, and Ricky; and great-grandchildren Tiffany, Madison, Gracie, Austyn, KynzLee, RyLeigh, Delilah, and Gabriel.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray O'Neal; her son, William Michael "Billy" O'Neal; her parents, Virgil and Annie Gladys Lentz; and her siblings, Clyde Lentz and Shirley Evetts.
