Mrs. Annie Mae ?Aunt Polly? Chapman Cummins Workman, age 84, resident of Workman Road in Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, June 21, 2010 at Maury Regional Hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Workman will be conducted at 10 A.M. on Thursday, June 24, 2010 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Dalton Cole officiating. Interment will follow in Spencer Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 P.M.-9 P.M on Tuesday and from 3 P.M. -9 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

A native of Killen, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mattie Lillie Wisdom Chapman. She was the wife of the late Malcolm Montgomery ?Coon Man? Cummins and Arnold Workman. In her early life, she worked at the Hosier Mill. She then became a homemaker and raised lots of children. She loved quilting, flowers and working on the farm. She was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ.

She is survived by three sons, Larry Wayne Faye Cummins and Malloy Barbara Cummins both of Mt. Pleasant and Steven Randolph Cummins of Valparaiso, Florida; a step-son, Dewey Joyce Workman of Giles Co.; a step-daughter, Laura June Attkisson of Mt. Pleasant; two granddaughters, Selena Carol Vincent Morgan of Summertown and Ashley Cummins of Mt. Pleasant; four grandsons, Christopher Jana Cummins of Summertown, Brent Casey Cummins of Mt. Pleasant, Britt Rita Cummins of Niceville, Florida and Michael Jeff Cummins of Valparaiso, Florida; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Katie Odom and Virginia Chapman and five brothers, Floyd, Wilson, Lester, James and Brown Chapman.

Active pallbearers will be grandsons, Britt Andrew Cummins, Christopher Cummins, Michael Jeff Cummins, Justin Brent Cummins, Aaron Taylor and Adam Laws.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of Mt. Zion Church of Christ of Mt. Pleasant.
