Annie Laura Hay

April 13, 1917 — March 16, 2008

Mrs. Annie Laura Henson Hay, 90, a resident of Hay Hollow in Santa Fe, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at her residence.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hay will be conducted, Wednesday, March 19, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Andrew Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 until 9:00 P.M. and Tuesday from 4:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

The Lawrence County native was the daughter of Willie Henson and Elizabeth Day Henson. She was the widow of Leslie Carroll "Ted" Hay. Mrs. Hay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Johnson Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children: Nolan Gale Hay of Franklin, Lesley C. Debbie Hay of Mt. Pleasant, Betty Charles Turner of Columbia , Sarah Roy Griggs of Franklin, Tommy Hay, Gary Hay and Darlene Richardson all of Santa Fe; step-son: Robert C. Hay of Hohenwald and step-daughter: Marjorie Malcom Brady of Columbia; grandchildren: Teresa Bobbie Dixon, Willie Nolan, Jr. "Dink" Pauline Hay, Joy Hay, Paul Richard Hay, Joshua D. Hay, Crystal Hay, Tammy Donnie Thompson, Mason Turner, Cheryl Daryl Brown, Bonnie Tim Scott, Tommy, Jr. "Good Man" Paula Hay, Gabriel Sherry Hay, Lora Jimmy Cates and Tiffany Hay; 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons: Danny "Pete" Hay, Glen David Hay and several brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Thelma Dial, Carolyn Oakley, Wayne and Mary Frances Stanfill, Enoch George and members of Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

Memorial may be made to the Hospice of Highland Rim, 1412 Trotwood Avenue Suite#5, Columbia, TN 38401.
