Annie Belle Grissom Roberts Burns

Annie Belle Grissom Roberts Burns, age 79 of Hampshire, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 at her home.
“Annie Belle”, as she was known to her family, was born March 6, 1933 in Maury County to the Late James Grissom and the Late Birdie Young Grissom. Later, she graduated from Haylong High School in Mt. Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her first husband Harry M. Roberts, and her second husband Bernard Burns. The family shared that Mrs. Burns loved to watch wrestling, gardening, ball games, music, and spending all her time with grandchildren. She worked at GE assembly as a line worker and the Record Shop in Columbia. Annie Belle was a member of the Baptist faith.
The family will hold a visitation Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 4-8:00 P.M., with services conducted the following day at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, TN at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Mark Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka.
Mrs. Burns is survived by her children: Harry M. (Joy) Roberts, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, Diana (Ronnie) Boshers of Hampshire, and Anna M. (Rex) Burdette of Columbia; her grandchildren: Stacy (Dana) Craig of Mt. Pleasant, Emily Craig of Mt. Pleasant, Donny (Sharon) Boshers of Hampshire, Jason (Janie) Boshers of Hampshire, and Jennifer Blocker of Columbia; her most favorite past time, great grandchildren: Marly Davis, Macy Davis, Mabry Davis, Maddy Craig, Meg Craig, Katelyn Boshers, Will Boshers, Tyler Boshers, and Ethan Lewis. Annie Belle is preceded in death by her siblings Virginia Whitley, Margie Workman, Van Grissom, Harold Grissom, John D. Grissom, Marvin Grissom, and Billy Grissom.
Pallbearers will be Nelson Roberts, Mike Chapman, Bill Workman, Donny Boshers, Jason Boshers, Tyler and Will Boshers, George Burns, Wayne Grissom and Jim (Jimbo) Workman. Honorary Pallbearers are : Suellen Lee, Ute Hall, Edna Lentz, Sherise Blount, Tomika Allen, and Jospehine Sykes.
