Anna Belle Grimes Soprano

June 13, 1922 — December 12, 2002

Mrs. Anna Belle Grimes Soprano, 80, died Thursday, December 12, 2002 at her residence in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday December 20, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant with Rick Points officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late James and
Anna Eddlemon Grimes and widow Anthony "Al" Soprano.

She worked for Sears as a Division Manager for 33 years and held every office in the American Business Womans Association, being named woman of the year. Also, she held most of the offices in the VFW as well as the Amerita Ladies Auxiliary, including president. She was active in many charities.

She is survived one son, Jimmy Gifford of Alexandria, La.; one
daughter, Marguerite " Martee" Capilli of Ocala, Florida; five grandsons, Anthony Brent Gifford of Alexandria, La. , James " Danny " Daniel, III , Christopher Bryan Daniel, Jody Lee Daniel and Michael Anthony Daniel all of Florida; one great-grandson Michael Brendon Daniel of Florida.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters, one of which was Marguerite Rassi who died December 3, 2002.
