Anna Faye Robinson, age 83, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022, in her home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.
Anna Faye was born on January 3, 1939, to the late Hackney Harlan Thomason, Sr., and Ellen Connie Mae McClure Thomason in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.
Anna Faye had a huge heart for others, always finding ways to help or give back. She would take it up herself to take food to those that were in need, and even start clothing drives at the Women’s Shelter. Just as Anna Faye had a tender soul, she was a strong woman that walked in the presence of Christ. She taught children’s Sunday School for many years. Anna Faye was a faithful member of Halls Chapel Church of Christ. She was the dedicated wife of C.V. Robinson, who was a Preacher at Halls Chapel Church of Christ until his passing in 2005.
She is survived by her children: Charlie V. “Buddy” Robinson, Jr., and Darlene “Dab” Robinson; grandchildren: Charlie Wayne “Bubba” (Crysty) Robinson and Matthew (Kayla) Robinson; great-grandchildren: Suzanna White, Logan White, Weslee Robinson, Addison Robinson, Axel “Ace” Robinson, and Rip Robinson; great-great-grandchild: Brynlee; brother-in-law: Glenn Robinson; several nieces and nephews; and special furry companions: Tinkerbell and Happy.
In addition to her parents, Anna Faye is preceded in death by her beloved husband, C.V. Robinson, and brothers: Hackney Thomason, Jr. and Douglas Wayne “Hoot” Thomason, Sr.; and nephew: Douglas Wayne Thomason, Jr.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 13, 2022, at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 11:00 AM with Bro. Randy McNeece officiating. To follow, Anna Faye will be laid to rest at Arlington Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charles Cherry, Randy Workman, Randy Thomason, Mike Waldrop, Jason Robinson, and Tom Gordon.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Church of Christ.
