Anna Renea Potts, precious infant daughter of Jonathan and Christie Skelton Potts, flew into the arms of Jesus August 4, 2013.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Freedom Cemetery with Rev. John Helton officiating.
In addition to her parents, Anna is survived by her two sisters: Cadia Potts and Madison Potts; her grandparents: James (Melissa) Potts of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee and Brandy Odom of Summertown, Tennessee; great grandparents: Doris Potts of Summertown, Tennessee, John (Judy) Helton of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee and Carol Rickett of Waynesboro, Tennessee; her aunts and uncles: James Thomas (Jackie) Potts of Summertown, Tennessee, Anthony Potts of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, Haley Blum and Breanna Blum of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. Precious Anna is preceded in death by her great grandfather, Papaw Clarence Potts.
The family finds great strength knowing that their Precious Anna is safe in the arms of the Lord, as the bible states in Isiah 40:11, “He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.” Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep, thy angels watch me through the night, And keep me safe till morning's light.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Jonathan and Christie Potts as she continues to recover from a sudden illness. Memorials may be mailed to Doris Potts, 137 Oaks Road, Ethridge Tennessee, 38456.
