Mrs. Girard Ann Troope Putnam, 71, a resident of Alpine Drive in Columbia, died Sunday, March 20, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Family services for Mrs. Putnam will be conducted Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Reverend Norman Jacobs officiating. Williams Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. The family will visit with friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was first married to James Harvey who died in the early 1970?s. Mrs. Putnam was operator of Mrs. Ann?s Childcare and a homemaker. She was spiritually inspired by the Bible and knowing Jesus as her savior. She enjoyed walking and was a member of the Trinity Family Outreach Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Victoria Adams and a son, Jason James Harvey both of Columbia, TN; two granddaughters, Brooke Jeff Pettyjohn of Memphis, TN and Alexia Ann Adams of Columbia, TN; great-grandson, Blake Adams of Columbia, TN; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremy Harvey; several sisters and brothers.
Pallbearers will be men of Trinity Family Outreach Church.
