Anita Stanberry St. Lawrence

Mrs. Anita Stanberry, age 83, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Wednesday, September 02, 2015 at her residence.
Anita was born to the late Earl Stanberry and the late Elaine Cook Stanberry in Elizabethton, Tennessee on July 14, 1932. She was married to Robert Vincent St. Lawrence. Anita was educated at East Tennessee State University and the University of Southern Florida, holding a Master’s Degree in Education. She worked as a high school teacher and was an Assistant Principal at a middle school in Brandenton, Florida. She enjoyed educating young people. Additionally, she was active in the Baptist Church Women’s Group in her community.
Mrs. Stanberry is survived by her husband: Robert V. St. Lawrence of Mt. Pleasant; children: Karen (Bill) Pfaender of Franklin, Tennessee and William J. (Beth) Swatzell of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren and 6 grand children.
Graveside services for Anita will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Happy Valley Cemetery in Elizabethton, Tennessee.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
