Angela Dawn Ballard

Angela (Angie) Dawn Ballard, 55, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, February 18, at her home.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Randy Sprouse officiating. The family will visit with friends from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday.

Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Obed L. Ballard and Sarah Frances Ballard and her sister, Myrtle Ballard Holtman.

Survivors include her aunt, Frances Howell of Columbia; cousins, Linda (Charles) Sullivan of Nashville, Joyce (Randy) Sprouse of Mt. Pleasant and Gina (Mike) Potts of Columbia, Amber Sprouse of Charlotte, Heather and Kinley Floyd of Rockvale. She will be missed by her longtime close friends, Denise Anderson and Shelia Rogers. She was a 1982 graduate of Columbia Central High school.

Angie was employed by United Healthcare. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and Daughters of the King. She was a supporter of Shower Up for the Homeless and crocheted scarves and shawls for projects for the needy.

Angie was a huge fan of country music and made many friends across the country traveling to music venues. She was a smart beloved woman, devoted to her family and friends. We will miss her very much but she will never be forgotten. God bless and keep you Angie.
