Angel Denise Collins

Angel Denise Collins, age 39, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Monday, February 27, at her residence.

Angel was born December 29, 1977, in Columbia, the daughter of Dennis Loyd Collins and Sandra Kay Whitehead Collins. Her children, nieces and nephews were her life. She was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services for Angel will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Michael Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday, at the funeral home.

Survivors in addition to her parents include her fiancée, Jason Dawson; her children, Coby Dale Collins and Nicholas Loyd Collins, both of Mt. Pleasant, Abby Dawson, Savannah Dawson and Jacey Dawson; brothers, Chris (Reba) Collins and Rodney (Bridgett) Collins, both of Culleoka and Brad (Callie) Collins of Columbia; sister, Dana Jones of Culleoka; nieces and nephews, Drew Collins, Jade Aviles (Chad), Jodie Dickens, Jarett Dickens, Kayla Allen, Brooklyn White, Zachary Jones, Josie Collins, Hannah Collins and Jordan Collins; 4 great nephews and 1 great niece along with her best friend, Ashley. Angel was preceded in death by a son, Jakob Franklin Collins and her grandparents, Warren and Remona Butler and Roy and Alene Collins.

Pallbearers will be Steve Collins, Terry Collins, Royce Collins, Drew Collins, Dean Collins, Terry Dawson, Zachary Jones and Brooklyn White.
