Mr. Andrew J. Schwartz, 62, a resident of 3rd Ave. in Columbia died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Schwartz will be conducted Monday, November 10, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Ponitac, MI, he was the son of the late John and Ann Marie Losch Schwartz and husband of Edna Sue Hickman Schwartz. He was a retired welder, pipe fitter and former owner of the Corral Bar and Grill. He was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children, Carol Russ Milner, Margaret Schwartz, Susan Eric Ervin, Rose Schwartz, Andrew Martin Schwartz and Gerri Howard Lancaster, all of Columbia; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
