Ms. Amber M. Whatley, 18, a resident of Thomas Ave. in Columbia, passed away Friday December 2, 2005 at Vanderbilt Children?s Hospital in Nashville.

Funeral services for Ms. Whatley will be conducted Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 11:00 am at the Williams Funeral in Columbia with Brother John Saunders officiating. Burial will be in the Beech Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of Troy and Tina Eastep Whatley of Columbia. She was a graduate of Central High School and attended Graymere Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Allen Jennifer Carter and J.J. Rhonda Eastep, both of Columbia; a sister, Brandy Eastep of Columbia; maternal grandmother, Faye Eastep of Columbia; maternal grandfather, Wesley Scott of Columbia; paternal grandparents, Billy and Ruth Whatley of IL; aunts and uncles, Ricky Patricia Eastep, Danny Irenello Eastep, Johnny Lisa Whatley, Lisa Scott and Melissa Scott, all of Columbia, Tony Eastep of Clifton, TN, Janice Whatley, Stager, IL, Paul Teresa Schafer of Maryville, IN, Christopher Whatley of Park Forrest, IL, and Timmy Eastep of LA; three nephews and a niece; very best friend, Breanna Sanford of Columbia.

Pallbearers will be Paul Schafer, Ryan Schafer, Dan Crueso, Joe Crueso, Charlie King and Brian Frazier.
