Mrs. Amanda Kaye Runions Melton, 24, of Ridge Top Road in Hampshire, died Wednesday, June 11, 2003 from injuries recieved in an automobile accident on Highway 166.
Funeral services for Mrs. Melton will be conducted Saturday, June 14, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Reverend Glen Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Sheboss Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of Charles and Judy Pierce Runions and the wife of Johnny Ray Melton, all of which are from Hampshire. Mrs. Melton was a homemaker and a loving mother.
In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by one son, Jessie Lee McNabb of Hampshire; one brother, Chris D. Runions of Columbia; two sisters, Jennifer Michael Henley of Centerville and Andrea Louis Varacalle of Columbia, three nieces, Makayla and Brittney Henley of Centerville and Alyssa Varacalle of Columbia; Maternal-grandmother, Birdie Pierce of Hampshire; Paternal-grandfather, Walter Runions of Mt. Pleasant; a Father-in-law, Bobby Melton of Michigan and a Mother-in-law, Mary Melton Kilburn of Collinwood.
Pallbearers will be Louis Varacalle, Michael Henley, Ralph Tackett, Marty Crouch, Timmy McKennon and Jerry Wayne Runions.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles W. Runions, Chris D. Runions, Alfred Runions, James Runions, Bobby Melton, Carl McNabb and Richard McNabb.
