Alma Allen Smith

Mrs. Alma L. Allen Smith, 64, a resident of Lakeside Drive in Columbia, died Friday, January 16, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Smith will be conducted Sunday, January 18, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Reverend Gene Shelton officiating. Burial will be in the Barnesville Cemetery at Summertown. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Lawrence County native was the daughter of the late James Russell and Esther Whitehead Allen. She was the wife of Tommy Smith of Columbia. She was a homemaker and member of the Nazarene Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five sons, Wayne Judy Chunn of Lawrenceburg, TN, David Lynn Chunn of Summertown, TN, Winston Tammy Chunn of Columbia, TN, Timmy Patsy Mobbs of Lewisburg, TN, and Kenny Shirley Mobbs of Mt. Pleasant, TN; fourteen grandchildren, Joshua M?Leah Chunn, Katie Chunn, and Caleb Chunn all of Lawrenceburg, TN, Christy Angel Rabelo, Ashley David Farrell, John Chase Chunn, and T.J. Mobbs all of Columbia, TN, Carrie Jason Walker of Summertown, TN, Jonathan Laura Chunn of Clarksville, TN, Tyler Mobbs of Pennsylvania, Hunter Cummins and Trevor Cummins both of Lewisburg, Tn, Amanda Mobbs and Jared Mobbs both of Mt. Pleasant, TN; six great grandchildren, Derek Shepherd, Karley Rabelo, and A.J. Rabelo all of the carters Creek Community, Trent Walker and Ethan Walker both of Summertown, TN, and Jonathan David Chunn of Clarksville, TN; three brothers, James Allen, Delbert Allen, and Troy Allen all of Summertown, TN; a sister, Erma Bearden of Summertown, TN. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Odell Allen, Claude Allen, and Coye Allen; an infant sister, Avey Dean Allen.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Joshua Chunn, Jonathan Chunn, John Chase Chunn, T.J. Mobbs, Tyler Mobbs, and Jason Walker.
