Alice Faye Campbell, age 72, of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center with her family by her side.
Alice was born on September 1, 1946, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Odis Felix and Annie Sue King Woodard. She was married to John Edward Campbell for fifty-two years. Alice was a hard working woman, service nursing homes on the custodial staff. She was very loving to all, and “double-nice” to everyone she met. She had a heart of gold. In her family she was known for making the best homemade biscuits ever. She was of the Baptist faith and attended United Baptist Church in Glendale, Tennessee.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband: John Edward Campbell; children: Eddie (Cheryl) Campbell of Cornersville, Timothy (Laquita) Dunkle of Culleoka, Elizabeth Ann (Keith) Hinson of Columbia, and Christy (Chad) Bailey of Culleoka; grandchildren: A. J. Dunkle, Brian Brumberlow, Steven Brumberlow, Gary Washburn, Cheryl Washburn, Earl Bailey and Justin Bailey; 7 great-grandchildren; and brother: Donald (Judy) Woodard. She was preceded in death by her parents: Odis and Annie Woodard; and brothers: Felix Woodard and Alvies Woodard.
Funeral services for Alice will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Gerald Morton officiating. Burial will follow at Haynes Cemetery in Culleoka. The family will visit with friends on Monday, from 8:00 a. m. until 10:00 a.m., also at the funeral home.
A.J. Dunkle, Earl Bailey, Justin Bailey, Steven Brumberlow, Gary Washburn, and Brian Brumberlow will serve as pallbearers.
