Alfred Rudolph Swanson

Mr. Alfred Rudolph Swanson, age 69, a resident of Big Spring Fork in Lawrenceburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg.
A memorial service will be conducted Friday at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 5:00 P.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
The Putnam CT native was the son of the late Rudolph and Edith Clawson Swanson. He was the husband of Victoria Wojcik Swanson of Lawrenceburg. He was retired as a self employed mechanic.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his children: Kathleen Hankins of Lawrenceburg, Walter Alfred Lynette Swanson of Brooklyn, CT and Eric Michael Swanson of Danielson, CT; grandchildren: Kristy Lynn Swanson of Brooklyn, CT, Meagan, Melissa, Erica, and Brandy Swanson, all of Rhode Island, Miranda Hankins and Misty Hankins, both of Lawrenceburg; two great-grandchildren: Katelyn Hawkins and Shane Scrozenski, both of Brooklyn, CT.
