Mr. Albert Donald ?Pappy? DelRoy, 88, a resident of Rock Springs Road in Columbia died Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. DelRoy will be conducted Saturday, September 18, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral in Columbia with Reverend Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Thursday and Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Boston, Massachusetts native was the son of the late Ralph and Angie Sacchetti Stasio and husband of the late Minnie Ethel Coran DelRoy. He was a former owner and operator of the Country Kitchen on Pulaski Pike and retired from Sherry?s restaurant in Maryland. He was head maitre de for Duke Zeberts in Washington, DC. He loved cooking and was an avid photographer, stamp, coin and rock collector.

He is survived by a two daughters, Diana Jimmy Gilliam of Jasper, TN and Denise David Ring of Columbia; a son, Douglas DelRoy of Charlotte, NC; a step brother, Anthony Mary Stasio of Maryland; 13 grandchildren, Douglas Jennifer Huey of Columbia, TN, Joy L JJ Duarte of Lubbock, TN, Tammy Ring Hershel Eller, Joseph ?Joey? Kristy Bell, David ?Boo? Ring, Jr., Jammy Heath Dawn Gilliam, Wayne Angie Chipchase, Larry BeckyHyden, Billy Huey and Patricia Steve Reno all of Columbia, TN, Michael Robin Huey of VA, Vera Charles Oliver of Louisville, KY and Linda Tom Cappalle of Ohio; 12 great grandchildren; a son-in-law, Harold Huey of Columbia; a special friends, Virginia Biachii and Marieann Lassiter of Columbia. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Huey.

Pallbearers will be Joey Bell, Jammy Gilliam, Hershel Eller, Larry Hyden, Wayne Chipchase, Billy Huey, Steve Reno, and Mike Huey. Honorary pallbearers will be David Ring Jr., Dr. J. Cummins Couch, Edward Moore and the staff of NHC/Hillview Nursing Home.
