Alamaruth Budd Price

Mrs. Almaruth Budd Price, 95, formerly of Kokomo, Indiana and resident of Columbia, Tennessee, died Monday, September 9, 2002 at Hillview Health Care.

Graveside services for Mrs. Price will be conducted at a later date at the Crown Point Cemetery in Kokomo, Indiana. Williams Columbia Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Kokomo, Indiana native was the daughter of the late Burgess O. and Emma Hulda Peters Budd. She was the widow of Robert H. Price who died in 1995. She was a 1925 graduate of Kokomo High School and received her teaching certificate from Ball State College in Muncie, Indiana. She taught elementary classes in Kokomo for several years and was also employed in the Auditors office of the Howard County Court House. She worked for twenty-two years for the Anderson Abstract Company in Kokomo. She was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church and volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital.

She is survived by two nephews, Phillip R. Charlene Budd of Lynnville, TN and Burgess C. Charlotte Jane Budd of Memphis, TN; three great nephews, two great nieces; several great-great nieces and nephews.
