Aiko "Sasaki" Thomas

Aiko “Sasaki” Thomas, age 84, passed away July 29th, 2013 in Ethridge, TN.
Aiko was born May 2nd, 1929 in Pearl City, Hawaii, to parents Yoshita Sasaki and Yasu “Unil” Sasaki. She married Melvin Thomas on February 15, 1957. Aiko was a dedicated homemaker.
Services for Aiko will be Wednesday July 31st at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN, with interment to follow at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Family and friends may visit at 12:00 noon on Wednesday prior to the service. Bro. Tony Ayres will officiate the service.
Aiko is survived by: Granddaughter; Carol (Tim) Van Abel, Great-grandsons; Brett Miller, and Caleb Van Abel, Great Granddaughter; Katelin Van Abel, Brother; Katsugi Sasaki, Sister; Satsuki Sasaki, Brother-in-law; Raye Thomas, Sister-in-law; Carolyn Fly.
She is preceded in death by; Parents; Yoshita Sasaki, and Yasu “Unil” Sasaki, Husband; Melvin Thomas, and daughter; Janice Beard.
