Mrs. Ada Louise Huff Call, age 97, a resident of Meadow Road and longtime resident of Greenwood St. in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Monday, June 16, at NHC/Columbia.
A memorial service for Mrs. Call will be conducted Friday at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant with Reverend Phillip Wright officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Arlington Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the church.
Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant is in charge of the arrangements.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late W.T. and Callie Riggins Huff. She attended Peabody Teachers College in Nashville. Mrs. Call was a retired secretary and also worked at Whitworth Jewelry in Mt. Pleasant. She was employed at the Tennessee Housing Authority. Mrs. Call was the longest surviving member of the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
She is survived a daughter: Sara Call Landers James E. Dooley of Mt. Pleasant; two grandsons: Robert Richard "Ric" Landers of Nashville and Kenneth Tami Dooley of Columbia; great-grandchildren: Richard Nathaniel Amy Landers of MN, Jason Dooley and J.J. Dooley both of Columbia, Melanie Landers Baldwin, Chayton Baldwin, Mazzy Landers and Izabella Landers all of Nashville.
Honorary pallbearers will be all members of the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant, Dr. Angela Joynes and Staff of NHC/Columbia.
