Aaron Glenn Jones

Aaron Glenn Jones was born to Aaron Maurice Jones and the late Lois Boshears Jones on December 16, 1940 in Maury County, Tennessee. He was the father of three children and a beloved grandchild. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Stauffer Chemical Plant as a mechanic. He was a member of the Allensville Baptist Church. His granddaughter Natalie was so very special to Glenn and she would spend hours sitting in his lap playing video games with him. She was the light of his life. He also loved Pat Summitt and the Lady Vols basketball team.

Mr. Jones passed away at his home on Thursday, July 5, 2012. Funeral services for Mr. Jones were conducted Monday, July 16, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. Visitation took take place from Noon until the time of the service at the Mt. Pleasant Williams Funeral Home.

A graveside inurnment will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. The American Legion Herbert Griffin Post 19 will provide military honors for Mr. Jones.

In addition to his father Glenn is survived by his children: Robin Glenn Jones, Suzanne Jones, and Karen Jones all of Mt. Pleasant; his grand-daughter: Natalie Jones; his siblings: Steve Jones, Roger Roseanne Jones, Janice Jones, Diane Ronnie Watson, and Marsha Jerry Goodman; the mother of his children: Linda Kincaid and numerous nieces and nephews.
