A.D. Underhill

Admiral “A.D.” Underhill, age 69, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.
A.D. was born on June 27, 1953, to the late A.D. Underhill II and Mary Alice “Hinson” Underhill in Nashville, Tennessee.
A.D. was a man loved by so many. He never met a stranger. He would make sure you knew everything about him, and he would know everything about you by the end of all the conversation. He was a very social man. He was a skilled huntsman. He loved deer and turkey hunting. He was also a member of the NWTF Chapter in Hohenwald for turkey hunting. On top of hunting, he also loved fishing and just generally being outdoors. If he wasn’t outside enjoying the outdoors, you would definitely find him watching Westerns. He loved all westerns and could give you a rundown of all western characters.
A.D. loved his family. He went by “Pops” by his son and “Daddy” by his daughter. He was so proud of his children. He also had a special place for his grandchildren and knew they were his everything. A.D. was so loved by many people and he will be deeply missed.
A.D. is preceded in death by his parents.
A.D. leaves behind his cherished memories in his children: Marshall Underhill and Heather (Justin) Skelton; grandchildren: Kourtny Underhill and Tyler Skelton; sister: Robin Davis; and brother: Johnny Underhill.
A visitation for A.D will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lomax Church of Christ in Hohenwald, Tennessee. A service for A.D will be held on September 13, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Lomax Church of Christ with Steve Holloway officiating. A.D will be laid to rest at Lomax Church of Christ Cemetery.
