Born and raised in Columbia, Tennessee, Delana has always been deeply rooted in her community and faith. A proud graduate of Columbia Central High School in 1992, she demonstrated an early aptitude for office education, a field in which she has built a distinguished career.

Her professional journey began immediately after graduation, where she applied her skills in various office support roles. However, her path took a unique turn when she embraced the role of a live-in nanny for five years. During this period, she lovingly cared for four brothers and three of their cousins in Portland, Tennessee, enriching her life with invaluable experiences.

In 2015, Delana returned to her hometown of Columbia, Tennessee, where she joined Williams Funeral Home. Her dedication and expertise quickly became evident, and she was entrusted with increasing responsibilities. By 2024, she had ascended to the role of Director of Administration, overseeing two cemeteries, and managing Accounts Payable and Receivables for all locations.

Beyond her professional achievements, Delana is a devoted “Aunt Laney” to four nephews, six nieces, three great-nephews, and one great-niece. Her love for her family is matched only by her deep commitment to her faith. Growing up actively involved in her church, she continues to live a life guided by her love for the Lord.
